What is Specific Learning Disability?
Specific Learning Disability (SLD) is often known as the 'hidden handicap'. Parents may not notice it in their children until it is too late. Individuals, both children and young adults are frequently seen as lazy or unmotivated when they are not able to learn easily in their environment. These difficulties are often due to SLD.

Learning Disabled children fall under a broad spectrum of those who perform poorly in school. The reason why they fail to achieve is varied. If a student is unable to cope in class, he/she can be turned around with appropriate teaching tactics. The Center's mission is to unearth their hidden potential and empower them.

Teaching to meet the various learning styles is the role of a trained remedial instructor. This can be achieved by understanding the difficulties faced by an underachiever. Dedicated, service oriented individuals can learn the different teaching methodologies to meet the needs of the "underachievers" with specific
learning difficulties.
