Our curriculum:
We have designed our core curriculum
after extensive study and research on various methods
of teaching. We have adopted many methods to teach
and assist our students in the best way possible.
We use the Orton Gillingham multi
sensory method of teaching for reading and spelling.
We also use the Strategic Intervention Models for
writing and comprehension from the Kansas University.
Mathematics is taught based on the Montessori Method.
We follow the Instrumental Enrichment Programme by
Professor Reuven Feuerstein to improve the children's
thinking capacity.
Professor Reuven Feuerstein and the
'International Centre for the Enhancement of Learning
Potential' created this set of primarily paper and
pencil exercises comprising of units or instruments.
This programme has proved immensely beneficial to
students with learning disabilities, physical disabilities,
mental retardation, behavioural and emotional disorders.
A vast body of international research confirms the
efficacy of this programme.
This programme is a compulsory part
of the curriculum at Alpha to Omega Learning centre.
It has been one of the key reasons for the success
of the academic programmes.
