Mission Statement - Learning Disability is not a barrier for higher education.

The Centre began in 1988 to offer one to one tutoring for dyslexic students. It gradually grew in size as more parents recognized and teachers understood the benefits of remedial education. The need to have trained personnel led to a workshop in August 1990 when Dr. Beve Hornsby of the Hornbsy International Centre, London deputed one of her master tutors Ms. Hazel Mckay to conduct a ten day workshop in Chennai. The awareness generated by the Centre brought in a flood of parents seeking help for children with learning differences. twelve years ago, the Centre began its full day intervention program for students unable to cope in the main stream. The Centre's dream has come true with our students coming out with flying colours in the National Open School and pursuing higher education.
